Personal Life

Megan was raised in a conservative setting in Geraldton, Western Australia, attended church regularly, and her childhood was in a “religious cult” environment, as she has described. She married at age 18, but that marriage ended after a few years. In recent years, Megan shared that she was diagnosed with a rare degenerative neurological disorder, spinocerebellar ataxia (SCA6). She has spoken openly about the diagnosis and how it influences her outlook.
