Chanel Preston entered the adult industry in January 2010 at the age of 24. Her first scene was with Nick Manning for the series Brand New Faces. This debut was followed by appearances in high-profile productions such as 3rd Degree's Bikini Land, which launched her quickly into mainstream recognition. Chanel also graced the covers of magazines including Club, Cheri, and High Society.
Her early success was rewarded with the 2010 CAVR Award for Best Actress and the 2010 XCritic Award for Best New Starlet. In 2011 she earned four AVN Award nominations and went on to win the NightMoves Best New Starlet award and the XBIZ New Starlet of the Year award.
In March 2012, Penthouse named her their Pet of the Month, a career milestone that helped her crossover into mainstream recognition. She went on to star in Exquisite Films’ adaptation of Tomb Raider as Lara Croft, further solidifying her as a versatile and in-demand performer.
Outside traditional films, Chanel has appeared in music videos, including Russ Irwin’s “Get Me Home” and Waka Flocka Flame’s “Bust.” She also co-hosted the 31st annual AVN Awards in 2014 and was frequently included on CNBC’s list of “The Dirty Dozen: Porn’s Most Popular Stars” from 2012 to 2016.
In addition to performing, Chanel Preston launched the educational web series Naked with Chanel in 2014, focused on sex positivity and social attitudes toward sexuality. She has directed films under her own brand and continues to serve as an advocate for performers, having presided over the Adult Performer Advocacy Committee (APAC).
